Hallucination

She wakes up in the middle of the night,
What she sees gives her a fright,

Two hands sat on her bed,
With no body or a head.

She jumps in the air and screams,
This is not one of her average dreams.

In the midst of confusion
She realises it was just an illusion,

She closes her eyes and falls to sleep,
Not realising the body’s underneath.
